Manchester City Midfielder Bernardo Silva Rejects Lucrative Offer From Saudi Pro League

Bernardo Silva has been approached with a lucrative opportunity to join the Saudi Pro League and talks have taken place, but he plans to reject the offer, according to The Athletic.

Silva is under contract with Man City until 2025, but he has been strongly linked with a move away. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are both reportedly interested in Silva, with the former is a long-term admirers of the midfielder. City isn’t planning to give away the player without a generous fee.

Manchester City and Barcelona Battle for Ilkay Gundogan

Pep Guardiola said Manchester City are fighting with Barcelona over the signature of Ilkay Gündogan. It's said that the midfielder will make a decision on his future this week. Gündogan, 32, is out of contract with City at the end of June, but the Champions League winners have offered him the chance to extend his seven-year stay at the club. Barca are also keen to sign the Germany international, and Guardiola said he knows the Catalan club's coach, Xavi Hernández, has been in touch with the player.
