Enzo Fernandez has had his driving license revoked for six months

According to reports, Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has had his driving license revoked due to two traffic violations involving a luxury car registered under his name.

Sky Sports reports that the Argentine international was found guilty of two charges for failing to identify the driver of his Porsche Cayenne and, as a result, had his driving license revoked and was fined £3,020. The driver of Enzo’s Porsche Cayenne was caught speeding on Carmarthen Road in Swansea by South Wales Police on December 20, 2023, and ran a red light on Church Street in Llanelli on November 28, 2023, according to Dyfed-Powys Police.

There is no evidence proving that Enzo was the driver in either incident. Both police forces had written to the 23-year-old registered car owner, but he failed to respond to their request for information. Enzo also did not attend Llanelli Magistrates' Court for sentencing on Wednesday, having previously been found guilty in his absence during two hearings earlier this year.

Court documents list two addresses for Enzo: one at Chelsea's training ground in Surrey and another in Kingston upon Thames. Chair of the Magistrates, Wyn Evans, stated, "We are dealing with two cases involving Enzo Fernández failing to identify the driver, and in his absence, this has been proven."

For the violation in Llanelli, Enzo was fined £1,000 plus £110 in court costs. For the Swansea violation, he was fined another £1,000, with an additional £800 victim surcharge and £110 in court costs. Due to these two incidents, Enzo's license was docked 6 points, bringing his total to 12 points. As his license had already been docked 9 points for speeding, his license will now be revoked for six months starting Wednesday.
