Arsenal, Man City eyeing Bayern's Musiala

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has attracted interest from Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester City, reports the Evening Standard.

Following an impressive 2023-24 season in which the Germany international got 12 goals and eight assists across all competitions, Musiala has been linked from teams all across Europe. It has been reported that both Arsenal and Manchester City have been monitoring the 21-year-old, having established himself as one of the brightest talents in Europe.

Musiala still has two years left on his current deal with the Bavarian club, but the report suggests that the German giants are confident that they will keep the youngster at the club on a long-term basis, despite the strong links with Premier League clubs.

However, should no progress be made on a new deal for Musiala by next summer, Bayern could be placed in a difficult situation. Clubs in Europe will be able to take advantage of the fact that he would have just a year left on his deal, which could force Bayern to part ways with Musiala, should contract negotiations fail to progress.

- Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has agreed a new deal with the club, reports The Athletic. The Ukraine international had one year left on his contract, though previous reports indicated that he had been close to securing a new deal with Los Blancos. It is reported that Lunin held doubts over a new contract, due to the lack of playing time he may receive, but the report reveals that he has now agreed to a new three-year contract with the Spanish giants.
