OFFICIAL: Busquets Burgos joins Inter Miami on a two-year contract

On July 17th, just hours before Messi's unveiling ceremony, Inter Miami officially announced the signing of former Barcelona midfielder Busquets. The contract is signed until 2025, and he will reunite with Messi at the club.

After his contract with Barcelona expired this summer, Busquets chose not to renew it and left the club as a free agent. Additionally, this season, he also retired from the Spanish national team, ending his 14-year international career.

Busquets has made a total of 721 appearances for Barcelona, winning 9 La Liga titles, 7 Copa del Rey titles, 7 Supercopa de España titles, 3 Champions League titles, 3 FIFA Club World Cup titles, and 3 UEFA Super Cup titles. He has also lifted the UEFA European Championship trophy once and the FIFA World Cup trophy once with the Spanish national team. According to previous reports, Busquets is expected to make an appearance alongside Messi at today's unveiling ceremony.

It is worth mentioning that the official announcement of his transfer coincided with his 35th birthday on July 16th, local time. Miami International also announced that Busquets' debut will take place on July 22nd at 8 AM Beijing time in the match against Mexico's Blue Cross in the North American Cup.
